I had my first Psychiatry clinical laboratory session, and it was freaking BALLER. Okay, so it was kind of depressing, and I felt terrible for the girl we interviewed and even worse for her family. She had been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, a combination of schizophrenia and recurrent depression. Our mentor did an amazing job of taking her history, and I can't wait to conduct the interview next week!
Now to relax with a round of Trivia at Mellow Mushroom. Never a dull moment in the life of a medical school student!
